Introducing The Snukeville Herald-Gazette

Since the announcement that the Dukeling is on its way, there has been a sudden flood of interest in the Dukes as a family. This blog is an attempt to stem that tide by providing an occasionally serious, often tongue-in-cheek chronicle of the happenings in Snukeville. Greg and Allison will be the most frequent authors, as we do not expect the Dukeling to add its commentary for several years yet. Feel free to log in frequently, view the posts, and comment...or not.

The Dukes of Snukeville

We are the Dukes: Gregory "GFunk," the First Duke of Snuke; Allison, Duchess of Snuke; Katelyn (Dukeling1); and Nathan (Dukeling part deux). Because we are good, informal, title-shunning Americans, we prefer to go by "Greg" or "Duke," "Allison" or "Allie," "Katelyn" or "Katie," and "Nathan" or "Paco" (as Dad calls him). Snukeville has existed in several locations but can currently be found in Pueblo, Colorado. Non-human residents of Snukeville include Lucy and Rusty, two sweet and beloved dogs of uncertain ancestry.

Greg is the pastor of Aberdeen Baptist Church here in Pueblo, while Allison is a Mary Kay Consultant, church chef, busy home manager, and aspiring author. Katelyn has no occupation at this time other than learning, playing, being sweet and adorable, and stealing the hearts of everyone she meets. Being sweet and adorable and stealing hearts just comes naturally. Nathan is the bionic member of the family, and always has a strong opinion to share (usually about whatever car he's playing with). He's a pretty awesome little man.
